Legendary design by Reinhold Weiss for Braun AG. The fan and the heater are in excellent, almost new condition. Only the two small rubber parts on the base show visible wear. The device itself looks like new, which is rare for a product from the 1960s.

This is a true classic, noted for its avant-garde design in Phillipe Garner's book "Sixties Design."

Reinhold Weiss was an influential designer at Braun. Weiss studied carpentry and architecture, later attending the Ulm School of Design. He joined Braun in 1959, and his first design, the HL1 desk fan, was released in 1961, followed by the compact HLD hairdryer in 1964.

He left Braun in 1967 and moved to the United States, where he continued his work as a freelance designer. Recognized as a figure in functionalist industrial design, his creations are featured in collections such as the Museum of Modern Art New York, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and the Israel Museum.
