Ready to own a piece of real design history? This Braun SK 2/2 radio from 1959 is a stunning example of German industrial design, straight out of the minds of Artur Braun and Fritz Eichler. It's the OG of functional minimalism and, frankly, makes anything on your shelves look instantly cooler.

Condition:
This baby is in fully original condition—yes, even the wiring is from 1959. It works, but we recommend rewiring it for safety if you're planning to use it daily. We left everything untouched because, honestly, it's a time capsule as it is.
• Functionality: It's working! But, you know, 1959 wiring isn't exactly modern safety-certified.
• Aesthetic condition: Pretty damn impressive for being over 60 years old (8/10).
• There are a few tiny paint specks on the casing—probably from sitting on a shelf while someone got overly ambitious with a wall-painting project.
• The cord has a little spot secured with adhesive tape (again, left as-is for that original charm).
• Plug: European. If you're elsewhere, you'll need an adapter.

Why this radio?
Because it's not just a radio. It's a piece of design history. It's a conversation starter. It's the kind of thing that says, “I have exceptional taste” without you ever having to say a word.

What’s it good for?
Collectors, mid-century modern fans, or anyone who just wants a slice of 1959 on their shelf. Look closely at the photos to appreciate all the honest wear that comes with six decades of style.

Please note: this item has a European plug (type C) and works on 220V. Depending on your country's voltage and socket type, you may need a plug adapter or a voltage converter.
